Built in the 16th century on the village square of Sare, Arraya is a former Compostela relay transformed into a charming hotel since 1951.
It has been run by the Fagoaga family for three generations. Its 15 comfortable, cozy, and carefully decorated rooms will allow you to enjoy a pleasant stay between the sea and the mountains.

From the entrance, beautiful lounges and a delightful dining room display a charm that owes much to the patina of the furniture and the brilliance of bouquets of flowers from the garden.

Made up of three buildings grouped around a garden that is hidden from view, Arraya occupies the center of Sare, a village classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Enjoy our outdoor swimming lane with views of the mountains and the listed facade of our house will allow you to relax and refresh yourself.
A pool measuring 11 m by 3.5 m, water heated to over 26° on cooler days, and a solarium with deck chairs and parasols invite you to relax.

As a couple, with family, with friends or in a small group, you are welcome.

Prestige Rooms

Arraya offers two Prestige rooms, Junior Suites with balconies overlooking the hotel's listed garden. Their spaciousness is ideal for a family with one or two children.

Privilege Rooms

Our 9 Privilege Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Ideally located on the second floor and accessible by elevator, three of them offer a commanding view of the typical Sare square and the surrounding mountains. The other 6 overlook the hotel's garden and swimming pool. Three of them were completely renovated and decorated in 2022.

Traditional Rooms

Cozy and full of charm, our four Tradition rooms feature shades of red or blue. Located on the first or second floor, they overlook the heart of the village of Sare or the Basque mountains.
