Built in the 16th century on the village square of Sare, Arraya is a former Compostela stopover transformed into a charming hotel since 1951.
It has been run by the Fagoaga family for three generations. Its 15 comfortable, cozy, and tastefully decorated rooms will allow you to enjoy a pleasant stay between the sea and the mountains.

From the moment you enter, beautiful lounges and a delightful dining room display a charm that owes much to the patina of the furniture and the brilliance of bouquets of flowers from the garden.

Comprising three buildings grouped around a garden that escapes view, Arraya occupies the center of Sare, a village classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France.

An 11m x 3.5m pool, water heated to over 26° on cooler days, a solarium with deck chairs and parasols invites you to relax.

Prestige Rooms

Arraya offers two Prestige category rooms, Junior Suites with balconies overlooking the hotel's landscaped gardens. Their spaciousness is ideal for a family with one or two children.

Privilege Rooms

Our nine Privilege rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Ideally located on the second floor and accessible by elevator, three of them offer a commanding view of the charming Sare town square and the surrounding mountains. The other six overlook the hotel's garden and swimming pool. Three of them were completely renovated and redecorated in 2022.

Traditional Rooms

Cozy and full of charm, our 4 Tradition rooms offer shades of red or blue. Located on the first or second floor, they open onto the heart of the village of Sare or onto the Basque mountains.
