In the heart of the Basque Country, the BERGARA hotel is the ideal starting point for exploring our beautiful region. Just 2km from Espelette, the kingdom of chili peppers, 8 km from Dancharia ventas and around twenty kilometers from the ocean and its various activities and golf courses (Anglet, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Biarritz).

This establishment, run by the Massonde family for 5 generations, has not aged a bit and has always been able to adapt to modern requirements without losing its authentic and family soul. Bernadette and her daughters "Maika and Mirentxu" will warmly welcome you in one of the 24 rooms (from 2 to 6 people) completely renovated, with sober decoration and modern and functional comfort. You will be comfortably installed there for a night or more, a thousand miles from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Two-story building in Basque style, with large private parking, a terrace, and a green park. For your well-being, we have created a sauna and a cozy indoor swimming pool heated all year round and equipped with a bench with massage jets from which you can contemplate the green landscape. The restaurant offers various options, à la carte and half-board. A breakfast buffet is served every morning.

Hikers will be delighted by the diversity of the routes, a booklet is available to them at reception and we will give our little tips for exploring the Vautours cliff or the Rhune!

You will find brochures at reception, which welcomes you every day to advise you on essential visits, market days as well as local shows and events.
