  Transport from San Sebastián , detailed cidery tour at Saizar and a multi-course meal included, right as it says on the package. Opportunity to purchase the cidery’s produce at the end, but it’s not forced/insisted on at all. Also, Sagardoa Route was the only cider tour provider to admit a solo traveller to the tour like myself (all others insist on 2 persons minimum ). Was a bit difficult finding the guide at the start since the bar at the meeting point had no idea what the guides or the company looked like and the van was unmarked, but this can be easily fixed I think. For the tour I selected, at 75euro, it was little bit on the pricey side, but still good value for money for the experience.

  What a fabulous time at Mizpiradi Cider House! Our group of nine family members ages 13 - 80 attended the tour/ lunch. Our guide, Maddalen, spoke perfect English and led us through the process of harvesting apples & making Basque cider. Afterwards we enjoyed unlimited tastings and a delicious traditional lunch. Adult and child menus are offered. WARNING: BRING YOUR APPETITE! This is an experience of Basque ABUNDANCE! A great value & highly memorable family experience.

  Had a great tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and sweet. One could see the pride she had for this family run enterprise. The lunch was traditional and very good. It was amazing how many people came out on a rainy day for the lunch. There were atleast 150 odd people having the lunch. The apple cider was unique tasting - dry and not sweet at all. The cute little store had all their products and very helpful staff. Definitely recommend this tour as a unique experience.
