Embark on a journey through six centuries of architecture and eventful history, recounted by local guides and storytellers. From the top of the 15th - century keep, the castle offers a unique 360° panoramic view of the Bidouze Valley and the Pyrenees mountain range. Numerous events enliven this majestic castle with its Scottish-inspired atmosphere: torchlit night tours, a musical fireworks display in summer, and historical reenactments in period costumes.

    This shell of a castle looks best from a distance, adding drama to the scenery. Close up it is less impressive, but another ideal place for a quick stop when driving from A to B.
