  The church contains the tomb of the Dukes of Gramont; there is also a magnificent Stations of the Cross made by the artist René-Marie Castaing, Grand Prix de Rome.
  
  The old residences of the rue Saint Jacques remind visitors that Bidache was an independent principality until 1789, with a developed commercial activity. You can still visit the old stepped port and walk on the old towpath along the Bidouze.
  
  An Israelite cemetery attests to the presence of a large Jewish community in the 17th and 18th centuries.
  
  The stone of Bidache, very hard limestone with flint veins called "la tigne" by the quarrymen, represented another important resource for the canton. It is still exploited today.
  
  If you go through Bidache, do not forget to ask the Tourist Office for audio guides who will tell you the history of the village, commented by Bidachots, during a walk that will take you from the castle to the stele. stonemasons through the church, the fountain and the Chemin de Talé, not to mention the typical houses of Rue Saint-Jacques.
