  We had a reservation for 3 pm, arriving at 2:45 pm. They told us the table wasn't ready (even though the place was packed). They told us to wait until 3 pm, we returned at that time, and they told us to wait again, clearly with even more commotion than 15 minutes before. They seated us at a table for two, even though there were three of us. The place was filled with smoke from the kitchen. Seeing the mess and the disarray, we left the table without being able to eat. It's a shame this happens in a place where the food is usually excellent.

  We went for lunch the day before the Behobia race, and the restaurant was packed. We shared croquettes and tomato salad (spectacular!) for our main courses, followed by lamb chops, pork knuckle, baby squid... everything was delicious. For dessert, we had chocolate fondant and cheesecake (doubly spectacular). Unai served us; he was charming and incredibly professional, and he even lit my birthday candles for me. Thank you so much for everything; we'll be back!
