On May 25th, the day before, I went to EL Globo next to the Parliament building and missed out on one pintxo. While I was debating whether to go back, I was wandering around the bars in Plaza Nueva when I spotted another EL Globo! It was around 4 PM, so it wasn't crowded, and I went in. Txakoli, mosto, two txaguros, and two truffados came to about €15. The pintxos at Gratinado, at €2.50 each, were delicious and reasonably priced. I wanted to eat more, but I restrained myself as there were other bars to explore. My wife ordered an extra pintxo though! Occasionally, pigeons and sparrows would fly in and peck at the food scraps on the ground. This location is larger and less crowded than the main branches in the city center.

Loved the buzz of this Pintxos bar and the great selection of pintxos on off. We visited both the one in Bilbao new town and the one on Plaza Neuva in old town. The new town one has a better vibe.
