Cetacean Expeditions

More than just a sea trip, come and observe cetaceans in their natural environment and participate in the collection of scientific data for the preservation of these species.

Early in the morning, the catamaran sets sail to take you out to sea to meet dolphins and whales in their natural environment.

Our team of observers, photographers and naturalist guides will be your travel partner for this stay at sea.

During this day you will learn about the different species living in the Bay of Biscay, their history, their habits, their characteristics but also how to protect them and therefore preserve them.

Our boat being labeled "responsible whale watching as well as Blue Flag" we have a respectful and non-intrusive approach, so the observation of cetaceans will be sublimated.

At the end of the expedition and thanks to the data collected during the day, a team will process this valuable information which will then feed into the national database of Pélagis (National Observatory of Marine Mammals and Birds).

Aperitifs along the Water

The end of the day at the water's edge is always a special time to relax with a drink.

We invite you to board our catamaran for an aperitif and a local tapas while sailing along the coast with a view of the Basque mountains. Whether you are with friends or on a romantic outing, this aperitif along the water is the assurance of an unforgettable evening.

The Corniche seen from the Sea

In partnership with the CPIE Littoral Basque, Explore Océan lets you discover or rediscover the Corniche Basque seen from the sea. A 2.5-hour navigation between Hendaye and Saint Jean de Luz to learn about the fauna, flora and geological aspect of this unique place in the Basque Country. A unique view of the coast, to share with family or friends.
