In the heart of the village of Ahetze, on the Basque coast, the Ahetzina Nordic sauna invites you to a truly unique wellness experience, inspired by Scandinavian traditions. Built of wood and heated by a wood-burning stove, this traditional sauna combines authenticity, warmth, and comfort in an intimate, private setting.

The Nordic sauna Ahetzina is installed on a private terrace, equipped with two deckchairs and a cold shower to prolong the experience of the Nordic ritual by alternating hot and cold. This alternation of hot / cold is a concentrate of health benefits. It helps eliminate toxins from the body, participates in muscle relaxation, stimulates and strengthens the humanitarian system, offers relaxation of the mind, brings a better quality of sleep and contributes to beautiful skin. Inside the sauna, the dry heat diffused by the volcanic stones stimulates blood circulation and relieves muscle pain. A 15-minute hourglass allows you to manage the ideal duration of the 30-minute sauna session and can be divided into 2 sessions of 15 minutes or 3 sessions of 10 minutes, alternating with cold showers and rest phases where you can hydrate while enjoying a moment of relaxation in complete safety.

Visitors can also use a bucket of fresh water with a ladle to pour water over the hot stones and create a beneficial steam and humidify the heat of the sauna.
