Ahetzina Private Nordic sauna in the heart of the village of Ahetze

In the heart of the village of Ahetze, a few kilometers from the Basque coast, the Ahetzina Nordic sauna invites you to experience a unique wellness and relaxation experience inspired by Scandinavian traditions.

Built from pine wood and heated by a wood stove between 70° and 85°C, this traditional sauna offers you authenticity, warmth and comfort in an intimate and private setting.

The Nordic sauna is located on a private terrace in a lovely wooded garden.

It is equipped with comfortable seating and a cold shower to extend the experience of the Nordic ritual by alternating hot and cold.

Inside the sauna, the dry heat diffused by the volcanic stones stimulates blood circulation and relieves muscle pain.

Also available is a bucket of fresh water with a ladle to wet the hot stones and create steam to humidify the heat of the sauna.
