    • Less than five kilometers from the Atlantic coast, the charming village of Arbonne combines terroir and Basque tradition. In the Middle Ages, the village served as a summer residence for the bishops of Boyonne.

Strolling through the village, don't miss the old benoîterie which is now an exhibition space for paintings and crafts, the Saint-Laurent church and its wooden galleries similar to the Saint -Etienne d'Espelette as well as the steles of the old cemetery. Also admire the houses with traditional Basque decoration.

Arbonne is also an important natural heritage, with unique flora and fauna. Do not hesitate to take the few hiking trails located all around.
