A family story :

The history of the Basque Country Brewery began in 1999 with Eki beer. In 2016, a project was launched to create a brewing unit in Bardos, in the Basque Country, and since then a craft range has been brewed on site under the Eguzki brand: "Soleil" in Basque. The Basque Country Brewery is now one of the largest breweries in Aquitaine and contributes to the regional economy by using local raw materials.

An authentic product :

Since 2017, the Brewery has developed its product range. Designed and developed by a team of passionate people, Eguzki Beers are in line with the new trends of a market that is increasingly in demand for traditional beers with an assertive, original and unformatted personality. Today, the Brasserie du Pays Basque works in collaboration with a large number of bars, restaurants and points of sale in the South West, which are increasingly looking for new products. The Eguzki brand is now present in most of the region's mass distribution networks, but also in many wine shops and regional beer specialists.

A unique production tool :

Located 22km from Bayonne, the Basque Country Brewery covers more than 3000 m2, dedicated to the brewing of artisanal beer. In the maze of 7km of piping, 3 master brewers are in charge of making Eguzki beers. Above all, they are passionate about their profession and continue their research work to develop the Beers of tomorrow.

The Eguzki workshop :

Discover the brewing process of Eguzki Beer during visits organised by the Brewery. A total immersion during a production cycle, a unique experience in one of the largest breweries in Aquitaine. Also take advantage of our tasting area at the end of the visit and enjoy the entire range of beers produced at the Brewery. A souvenir shop to close the visit will allow you to leave with your favourite beers, as well as a multitude of products stamped Eguzki, the Beer of the Basques.

Opening hours of the shop & bar :
Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm / 2pm to 6pm
and Thursday after work until 10:30 p.m.
