A family story

The story of Brasserie du Pays Basque began in 1999 with Eki beer. In 2016, a project was launched to create a brewery in Bardos, in the Basque Country, and since then, three craft beer ranges have been brewed there under the brands Eguzki, Oldarki, and Zazpi. Brasserie du Pays Basque is now one of the largest breweries in Aquitaine and contributes to the regional economy by using local raw materials.

An authentic product

Since 2017, the brewery has expanded its product range. Conceived and crafted by a team of passionate individuals, Eguzki and Oldarki beers reflect the new trends in a market increasingly demanding craft beers with a strong, original, and unconventional character. The Basque Country Brewery now collaborates with a large number of bars, restaurants, and retail outlets in Southwest France, all of which are eager for new offerings. The brewery's beers are now available in most major supermarket chains in the region, as well as at numerous wine shops and regional beer specialists.

A unique production tool

Located 15 minutes from Bayonne, the Brasserie du Pays Basque (Basque Country Brewery) spans over 3,000 square meters dedicated to brewing craft beer. Within the maze of 10 kilometers of piping, five master brewers craft the Eguzki, Oldarki, and Zazpi creations. Above all, passionate about their craft, they are constantly researching and developing the beers of tomorrow.

Shop & bar opening hours:
Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm / 2pm to 6pm in the summer season.
Thursday after work until 10 PM every Thursday during the summer (+ more info on Facebook).
