A family story:

The history of the Brasserie du Pays Basque began in 1999, with the Eki beer. In 2016, a project was born to create a brewing unit in Bardos , in the Basque Country, and since then 3 craft ranges have been brewed there, under the brands Eguzki , Oldarki and Zazpi. The Brasserie du Pays Basque is today one of the largest breweries in Aquitaine and contributes to the regional economy by using local raw materials.

An authentic product:

Since 2017, the Brewery has evolved its product range. Designed and developed by a team of enthusiasts, the Eguzki and Oldarki Beers are part of the new trends of a market that is increasingly demanding craft beers with a strong, original and unformatted personality. The Brasserie du Pays Basque now works in collaboration with a large number of bars, restaurants and points of sale in the South West, who are increasingly demanding new products. The Brewery's beers are now available in most of the region's major distribution networks, as well as in many wine merchants and regional beer specialists.

A unique production tool:

Located 15 minutes from Bayonne, the Brasserie du Pays Basque covers more than 3000 m2, dedicated to brewing craft beer. In the maze of 10 km of pipes, 5 master brewers are responsible for manufacturing the Eguzki, Oldarki and Zazpi creations. Above all, great enthusiasts of their profession, they continue their research work to develop the Beers of tomorrow.

Shop & bar opening hours:
Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. / 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. during the summer season.
Thursday after work until 10 p.m. every Thursday in summer (+ more info on Facebook).
