  We had a wonderful stay at Domaine de Bassilour. The charm of the place is undeniable: superb Basque houses tastefully renovated, exposed beams, a gentle and soothing atmosphere… You feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and decorated with a lot of character. Special mention goes to the freestanding bathtub, which delighted our children! The estate is surrounded by greenery, perfect for a peaceful getaway, while being only a few minutes from Biarritz and the Basque coast. A truly authentic place, ideal for lovers of unique locations and the Basque Country. We will cherish this wonderful discovery and recommend it without hesitation.

  I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Domaine de Bassilour, from the preparations to the beginning of the evening, and the experience was absolutely magical. Getting ready in the bedrooms offered an authentic charm, both retro and elegant, perfect for capturing intimate and meaningful moments. The secular ceremony in the flower-filled gazebo was magnificent, followed by a cocktail reception on the lawn, creating a soft and convivial atmosphere. The meal at the farmhouse extended this chic rustic ambiance, where the stonework and elegant setting added a touch of magic to every moment. The estate manager is extremely attentive and kind, which made the planning process even more enjoyable.
