Oronozia Holiday Center – Saint-Étienne-de-Baïgorry
In the heart of the Nive des Aldudes valley, the Oronozia holiday center welcomes groups from February to November in an exceptional natural setting. Located at the foot of a mountain cirque, this group accommodation is ideal for discovery classes, camps, families or works councils in search of tranquility and a change of scenery. On more than two hectares of green spaces, enjoy a warm Basque-style house, two large dining rooms (one of which seats 85 ) and comfortable activity rooms. The rooms with private bathrooms, spread over two buildings (60 and 36 beds), can accommodate up to 100 people in the best conditions.
Leisure facilities for the whole family
The Oronozia center offers sports and relaxation facilities for a dynamic and friendly stay. You will find on site an outdoor swimming pool to cool off in summer, a fronton for wild games of Basque pelota, a football field, a volleyball and basketball court, as well as ping-pong tables and large green spaces for team games. Meals are prepared on site by a chef, with traditional menus highlighting Basque cuisine and local products. The structure is approved by Youth and Sport and National Education.
Discovery of Saint-Étienne-de-Baïgorry and the Aldudes Valley
From the center, set off to discover Saint-Étienne-de-Baïgorry, its famous Roman bridge, its Etxauz castle and the magnificent landscapes of the Aldudes valley. Nature lovers will enjoy hiking on the GR10, mountain biking or walks accompanied by local guides. The region is also renowned for its farm producers, who offer tastings of Ossau-Iraty AOP cheese, Nive trout, artisanal charcuterie and wines from the Irouléguy vineyard.
