  Sadly, I’ll never know in person about this hotel. I made the reservation directly instead of through Booking like I usually do. Big mistake. As it was not someplace I’ve ever been before the mail was lost in everything and by the time it came up to going, I couldn’t find where we were staying. I made the assumption, like every other hotel I’ve booked, I’d receive a reminder. Nothing. No email. No text. No call to ask where I was. Just a charge on my credit card. When I contacted them about the charge I said I under stood the charge for one night, but charging more than one night? When you didn’t even make an effort to see where I was? And then saying you could have filled the room because there was demand? I don’t know the legality of hotels and booking systems, however it seems very unscrupulous to have charged multiple nights to a ‘no show’ with zero effort to make contact.

  We have stayed in this hotel early august and it turned out that are room/bed was infected with bedbugs (en français: punaises), both me and my partner were bitten about 80 times resulting in allergic reactions and blisters. In the morning we discovered a few blood spots in the bed but we didn’t think much about it until our bodies started reacting to the bites about 12 hours later. Called the hotel and the only answer we got was: we don’t know about it. Judging from the number of bites we got it doesn’t look like there was only one :-(. This spoiled our holiday quite a bit, as we were very itchy for more than a week and even had to go to the doctor to get injections with anti-histamines.
