      The store is open all year round, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm.
      In July and August, the shop is open Monday to Friday continuously from 9am to 6:30pm and on Saturday from 9am to 12:30pm and from 1:30pm to 6:30pm.


      Guided tour for everyone

      In July and August, we offer free tours of the cannery without registration, to learn all about Espelette pepper and enjoy a treat.

      • Fridays at 4:30 PM

      • From the Americas to the Basque Country, the history of this chili pepper seed

      To begin, BiPia offers you a historical journey into the origins of Espelette pepper and its arrival in the Basque Country. What were its first uses? Where does its famous name, Espelette pepper, come from? The team also presents its cannery and its values.

      • From seed to field, the cultivation of chili peppers

      Discover the steps involved in growing Espelette peppers: their unique characteristics, the work of the people involved, and the requirements of the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). Includes a presentation of this year's pepper plants, their growth cycle, and the progress of the harvest.


      • From field to pot, the work of transformation

      Through large windows overlooking the workshop, you'll discover the Espelette pepper processing chain. Learn about the different stages of creating and manufacturing our products. See BiPia's creations and culinary uses. During the week, depending on the schedule, you can observe our team working with Espelette peppers.


      • From pot to plate: culinary skill and gourmet tasting

      To the delight of food lovers, a cooking demonstration will be held right before your eyes, featuring two simple and quick recipes that are easy to recreate at home. You'll learn all the tips and tricks to elevate your dishes! Finally, sample their products and let yourself be seduced by the Espelette pepper.
