Antton Chocolatier Visit to the chocolate factory in Espelette

Welcome to Antton, Artisan Chocolatier in Espelette, a village renowned for its chili pepper.

All food lovers and curious people are invited to visit the manufacturing workshop in Espelette for free, and share the passion for chocolate through the work of the Chocolatiers.

A guide will accompany you on an educational, warm and delicious journey !

THE VISIT IS IN TWO PARTS:

• In the first room, the guide tells the story of chocolate and the major stages of production, from the harvesting of the cocoa bean to the finished chocolate.

• Next, you enter the production workshop to discover the chocolatiers practicing their craft and you can easily chat with them. The laboratory, with its trompe-l'œil paintings, transports you to the warm atmosphere of a traditional Basque kitchen, "La Cuisine d'Amatxi" (meaning grandmother's kitchen).

The tour concludes with a tasting of our finest specialties : fine chocolates and spreads !
