Antton Chocolatier Visit the chocolate factory in Espelette

Welcome to Antton, Artisan Chocolatier in Espelette, a village renowned for its chili pepper.

All gourmets and the curious are invited to visit the production workshop in Espelette for free, and share the passion for chocolate through the work of the Chocolatiers.

A guide will accompany you on an educational, warm and delicious journey !

THE VISIT IS DIVIDED IN TWO PARTS:

• In the first room, the guide tells the story of chocolate and the main stages of production, from harvesting the cocoa bean to chocolate.

• Then, you enter the manufacturing workshop to discover the chocolatiers practicing their art and you can easily interact with them. The laboratory, with its decor with trompe l'oeil paintings, transports you into the warm atmosphere of a traditional Basque kitchen "La Cuisine d'Amatxi" (meaning grandmother's kitchen).

The end of the visit continues with a tasting of our best specialties, fine chocolates and spreads !
