Port-Vieux beach The Basque Country Beaches in Biarritz

A very small beach with a very nice view on both sides, out to sea and towards the seafront. There are rocks, a rocky foreshore where you can walk (with caution) at low tide. It is the beach of the Club des Ours Blancs, these courageous people who go swimming all year round (without wetsuits, just a swimsuit!). It has character, a bit like in the 1900s with the old buildings that surround it! Stop there before continuing the walk to the famous Rocher de la Vierge. The beach is sheltered from the waves, it is supervised in summer and nearby, there is everything you need to eat and even go shopping.
