Sanctuary of Guadalupe, on the Jaizkibel in Hondarribia Abbeys, Churches, Monasteries, Priories in Fuenterrabía

It is a hermitage, dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe, who is patron of the city of Hondarribia. The sanctuary dates from the 16th century and every year, on September 8, it is the destination of the procession, the parade which honors the Virgin in a parade which commemorates the victory of 1638 over the French troops. Very nice view near the Sanctuary, which is also the starting point for many hikes.
