AN EXCEPTIONAL MONUMENT:

The Church of Saint-Blaise Hospital is the last vestige of a former medieval hospital foundation. Remarkably original, its Romanesque architecture blends with the genius of Hispano-Moorish art, bearing the marks of the influences that converged along the paths of the 12th century. These influences are reflected in the presence of architectural gems, true rarities on this side of the Pyrenees.

Historical Monuments and UNESCO World Heritage status testify to the richness of this remarkably well-preserved site, nestled between traditional 16th and 17th century houses, at the entrance to the Basque Country.

For a guided tour, an 8-minute audio-guided tour is offered to visitors every day from 10am to 6:30pm from April 15 to November 3, 2025 (free participation).

A 20-minute sound and light show is also offered for complete immersion in the history and architecture of the building, thanks to high-definition scenography combining 3D technology and lighting effects inside the church. A unique tour-show, for a historical and poetic experience.

This highly technical spectacle, conceived by the inhabitants of the village, will transport you in the footsteps of medieval pilgrims, while respecting the purity of the place.
