      Located on the highest peaks in the interior of the Basque Country, in the heart of the Aizkorri mountain range, the Oñati-Arrikrutz cave is one of the largest caves in Gipuzkoa. This cave was one of the pioneers of speleological and paleontological research in the Basque Country and stands out for the discovery of the complete skeleton of a cave lion (Panthera leo spelaea), the lion of Arrikrutz. In the caves of Oñati-Arrikrutz, the visitor chooses guided tours of different duration and difficulty, the experience that suits him; Gallery 53, a whole world to discover, EspeleoArrikrutz another way to discover the underground world and/or the Espeleotxiki family adventure.

    The explanations in spanish in one hour were very good. A natural space that deserve a little time of your holidays. Always at 10°, easy to visit, some scales but not get across narrow ways.
