  Wir waren auf der Durchreise Mitte Oktober und hatten extrem schlechtes Wetter. Glücklicherweise ist das Restaurant nur 150 Meter vom Hotel entfernt. An einem Mittwochabend in der Nachsaison hat kaum noch was auf und reserviert hatten wir auch nicht. Somit landeten wir in diesem rustikalen Restaurant. Wir hatten vorweg die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte mit Schinken, Pimientas, Blutwurst, Knoblauchcreme etc. Rindertartar mit Frites und einen Kalbfleischeintopf - beide Gerichte waren sehr lecker, als Abschluss noch eine Käseplatte. Eine bodenständige baskische Küche. Es war ein super Service und man muss früh hier sein (19.00), denn innerhalb von 15 Minuten nach der Öffnung war das Restaurant voll.

  We came on a Sunday lunchtime without reservation. The waiter quickly found a free table for us and seated us. Everything was excellent from start to finish: Basque beer and homemade sangria accompanied by delicious homemade marinated olives. Amazing tapas parillas to share (I highly recommend for a taste of the cuisine), and for mains we had the tuna tataki and the dish of the day (stewed beef with vegetables) separately. Unfortunately, no more room for dessert. An address to remember and recommend with your eyes closed!!! Thank you and congratulations to all the kitchen and service staff, see you soon!

  Recommended place, and, for being on the other side of the border, with a very reasonable price. Located in the very pleasant Bidart square.
