    • Restaurant Zabala Jatetxea is a cozy place located in the central San Pedro street, in the heart of the Hondarribia Marina neighborhood. Naiara Arizmendi and Erlantz Martínez de Agirre offer you a counter where you can enjoy seasonal products in small portions and taste a wide variety of pintxos marinated with a careful selection of local wines. In the dining room they offer you to taste the most precious products of the land and the sea in the area, the Txuletón or the Turbot, both traditionally cooked with a modern touch.

    If you are a true foodie and are looking for real tapas. You will definitely find it at Zabala Jatexia. This was my first time trying tapas in the Basque Region Of Northern Spain. The food, drinks, customer service and atmosphere was perfect. Honestly you really have to visit Northern Spain to try the Tapas. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, Lived in the United States for over thirty years and served in the United States Marines all over the world. I definitely know a great restaurant from all my Travels and Life Experiences. Zambala Jatexia is a must visit and rates five stars and more! You definitely won’t be disappointed!

    Excellent meal. We had the Zavala menu which was all fish. Clams, prawns, turbot and most of all the crab croquettes tasters were all superb. Thoroughly recommended.
