    Delicious and well-prepared pintxos. We ate there and really enjoyed it. We were seated upstairs, and it was packed, but luckily we had a reservation. Everything was exquisite, and the service was quick. The waiters were very friendly. The menu might not be extensive, but everything was very good. We ordered the medieval pintxo, the mika, patatas bravas, a hamburger, the meat dish (today it was beef cheeks, excellent!), squid in its ink with rice, cheesecake, chocolate fondant, and sorbet.

    I saw the name MIKA and decided to drop in. It was the right choice, the perfect choice! I ate at a variety of restaurants in San Sebastian and Madrid, but the food here was the best! It turns out the owner and chef is Japanese. The food is so delicate!!! Since I was traveling alone and missed out on paella, I wanted something rice-based, so I ordered the squid ink risotto. Highly recommended. For pintxos, I had MIKA and an omelette. MIKA was a delicious combination of plump, fluffy shrimp fries, cheese, and sauce (they had something that tasted like wakame seaweed stems). The omelette was rich and had a great egg flavor. For dessert, I had cheesecake. It was moist and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. While this is a bit much for a solo traveler, the grilled octopus looked incredibly delicious. If I have the chance, I'll definitely go again. Risotto, two pintxos, cheesecake, and coffee came to 40€. It's not too expensive. If you're in Hondarribia, be sure to stop by.
