  I had the lunch menu (50€, not inluding coffee). I found the food a bit disappointing: too much sauce/foam, and way too creamy heavy sauces. The original ingredients and their tastes disappear. The wine (12€/glass) was well advised. Pleasant and professional staff. Welcoming for solo-diners. The music (a middle of the road jazz radio station) was a tad too loud.

  The finest Michelin starred restaurant during our thorough trip through Basque Country. Le Kaiku is everything that you need for an indulgent evening without any excess or disappointment. It also serves as a wonderful tour of Basque Country through classics like the crab and the pigeon.

  Came here for Lunch and took advantage of the pre fix lunch menu for 38€. A real delight from a culinary standpoint! We tried the egg starter and quinoa. Our mains were fish in a very elegant white wine sauce featuring chorizo (hommage to the basque area). Desserts were another highlight mainly concentrating on pear and mirabelle plum, featuring stunning ice cream (vanilla and estragon/anis). Also the coffee with small patisserie pairings really made it a special lunch experience. Best „bang for the buck“. The wine list is a bit small for such great dining but you will find a few affordable and unknown delights to choose from. Highly recommend this restaurant!
