On the Way of St. James, nestled in the heart of the mountains on the Spanish border, in the charming village of Valcarlos, Azkena, a bar, restaurant, and tapas bar, offers a variety of local products with a set menu at €22 (bread and wine included).

Here you can enjoy homemade tapas inspired by our chef, as well as Rabas (a type of flatbread), croquettes, tortillas, delicious charcuterie boards, and many other specialties. Azkena is also a wine bar ; you can come and enjoy your wine with a beautiful ribeye steak and purchase it to take away. Our panoramic terrace with breathtaking mountain views is open all summer.
