The Basque Country, and particularly Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and its surroundings, offers you an exceptional historical heritage and living traditions.
But it is in Estérencuby, at the foot of the mountains, on the banks of the river , alone in a green cirque that the Tihista family since the 5th generation warmly welcomes you in its Hotel-Restaurant "Les Sources de la Nive".
The restaurant, open to all, has 2 rooms with a capacity of 100 seats.
The authenticity of the large room highlights the history of the region, through antique furniture, the rustic being dear to our ancestors in this country. On the plate, it is a family and traditional cuisine, made from local products that you will discover some of our specialties offered in our menus or à la carte: Banca trout, hot foie gras with apples, eels with parsley, piperade ham, venison or wild boar stews (in season) , sheep's cheese and jam, Basque cake ... all this accompanied by a good local wine.
