  A magnificent 11th-century castle, it was the seat of a sovereign state for over 200 years. Unfortunately, it was significantly reduced in size and lost its splendor over the centuries, due to several major fires. Today, in addition to its pleasant views, it also serves as a venue for highly immersive historical reenactments and theatrical performances.

  A night of terror at Bidache Castle: congratulations to the entire team who created and presented this interactive show based on the true story of a 17th-century femicide. We went from one surprise to another throughout the performance: a mix of humor and mild scares. This show highlights the castle, which, though badly damaged, certainly inspires the imagination. The hot drink at the end of the event was also very welcome, as Saturday evening we were in a lovely mist/drizzle, which enhanced the staging but... was a bit chilly. A big thank you to each member of the association for their time and for the quality of the show.
