Evasion 64 Canyoning on the Nive in the Pas de Roland gorges

With 20 years of experience in organizing and supervising adventure sports activities and stays, the Evasion 64 team is happy to welcome you to our base in Itxassou, 10 minutes from Espelette. The route on the Nive in the Pas de Roland gorges remains unique and will allow you to appreciate the nature of the Basque country in a different way. Our instructors will be happy to bring you all the sensations and emotions you are looking for.

Evasion 64 offers you a bouquet of fun sensations: Canyoning consists of descending a narrow and winding river using different techniques, abseiling, jumping, swimming, sliding on natural slides in enchanting sites where nature has remained wild. This sporting and fun activity is accessible to all levels from 10 years old. The main motivation is exploration and pleasure and not technical difficulty.

Evasion 64 also offers Rafting, CanoRaft (two-seater), Hydrospeed (descent with a water sled), Canyoning, Aquarando (extra for the whole family), and climbing on our natural wall site.

On site, a snack bar (in July and August) offers you a variety of sandwiches, drinks, ice creams and coffees every day, so you can eat on our terrace with a view of the Basque mountains.

Upon reservation, you can enjoy our grilled dishes. Picnic areas with barbecues, green spaces and, in case of rain, a covered room are at your disposal. You can also take advantage of the men's and women's changing rooms as well as hot showers before and after your activity.

Aquarando: €40 for adults and €35 for teenagers.
Canyon rope: €70 for adults and €65 for ages 12 to 17 for one day.
Accommodation in a Bengali tent is available for €12/person.
