The legagnoa family has been passionately producing its Espelette pepper since 1980, from seed to powder. It appeals to all its senses for a production of character that has been awarded several times at the Paris Agricultural Show, as well as at the Ministry of Agriculture with awards for excellence.
Nestled at the foot of Mondarrain, Elharra Farm is a family business that has been passed down from generation to generation.
Today the cultivation of Espelette pepper, the drying of ropes on the facades of houses and its essential place in the kitchen are deeply rooted in the rural heritage of the Basque Country.
Espelette pepper stands out as the symbol of a region but it is also recognized as an exceptional spice in France and abroad.
