Just a stone's throw from the center of Espelette, the Atelier du Piment immerses you in the world of the most emblematic spice of the Basque Country. This family business, founded in 2002, passionately perpetuates the tradition of Espelette pepper PDO.
The program includes a tour of the fields, greenhouses, and processing workshops (depending on the season), followed by a free tasting of homemade products (chili sauces, jellies, and local specialties). The on-site shop offers the chance to take home a delicious, 100% Basque souvenir.
