  We stopped today May 17, 2023, in this city for a coffee, just opposite, we noticed a facade of a very simple house, in its right part, a small store where it is marked : Maison Pereuil, founded in 1876. Just the date intrigued me, I absolutely wanted to try their Basque cakes, to verify the authenticity of the whole. So everything was about to please me: the freshness, the price, the quality, the cleanliness, the decoration of the store, and even the very nice saleswoman. We bought a Basque cherry cake for 6-8 people at €12, another with cream for 4-5 people at €10, and 2 individual cakes, at €1.50 each. Verdict, it's absolutely delicious 😋, very very correct price quality. I highly recommend

  If you like Basque cakes, I strongly advise you to visit Maison Pereuil where you will taste the best Basque cake in the region.
