  We must denounce the treatment we received today. When entering the establishment, we spoke Basque naturally, and the employee's reaction was to laugh, creating an uncomfortable and offensive situation. We find it incomprehensible and shameful that a business based on the exploitation of Basque culture would show such contempt for the language. A minimum of sensitivity and education are required in a public service.

  We had a completely unpleasant experience. When we entered the premises and addressed the staff in Basque, they started laughing in our faces without any respect. This attitude is completely unacceptable, but we find it even more shameful and hurtful considering that the image of the business is based on selling Basque culture. Using Basque aesthetics but despising the language and speakers is a terrible lack of coherence. We will not be back.

  Superb pastry shop, a beautiful place
