A passionate beekeeper and artisan jam maker since his youth, Jacques Salles created the Loreztia boutique in Bayonne in 2005. In Euskara, Loreztia means "sweetness of honey", and this is how passion turned into a profession.
Harvested in the Basque Country and the Landes, our homemade honeys deliver an authentic and natural flavor. At Loreztia, you can find honey from different honey species in the region: chestnut, Mille Fleurs, calluna, lime, and many more.We also work with other producers, in order to broaden the horizons and entertain the taste buds even more. Located in the region of Navarre and Asturias, two beekeepers collect honeys with a more "Mediterranean" taste, such as lavender, thyme or eucalyptus.
