The Banka aquaculture farm raises trout in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Basque Country. The pure and limpid waters of the Arpéa spring feed the basins of this old 17th century mill.
The family fish farm remains more than ever faithful to its philosophy of requirement to offer rare products and of impeccable quality. Here, the fish grows in conditions very close to the natural state. The purity of the water ; the quality of the food and the low density of fish are the secrets of this artisan trout.
In the shop you will find all the products from the aquaculture farm :
portion trout, fillet, steak or steak for fresh trout, eggs, rillettes, terrine, Basque trout, smoked trout in olive oil and the smoked fillet in beech wood, which is the prestigious signature of Banka trout.
Free visit for individuals from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Guided and paying visit for groups, by appointment, Monday to Friday included.
