The Banka fish farm raises trout in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Basque Country. The pure and clear waters of the Arpéa spring feed the ponds of this former 17th century mill.
This family-run fish farm remains more committed than ever to its philosophy of high standards , offering rare products of impeccable quality. Here, the fish grow in conditions very close to their natural state. The purity of the water, the quality of the feed, and the low stocking density are the secrets of this artisanal trout.
In the shop you will find all the products from the fish farm:
portion trout, fillet, steak or steak for fresh trout, eggs, rillettes, terrine, trout Basque style, smoked trout in olive oil and beechwood smoked fillet, which is the prestige signature of Banka trout.
Free and open visits for individuals from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Guided tours are available for groups for a fee, by appointment, from Monday to Friday inclusive.
