Indeed, La Tour des Vins, very strict in its selection, has always made a point of honor to favor quality over quantity. Both in the selection of its wines since its beginnings, and in that of its fine alcohols (Cognacs François VOYER, Whisky Michel COUVREUR, Bas Armagnac Domaine de JOUANDA ...) and other champagnes from 1999.

Today more than ever, fruit and balance must take precedence over extraction and the misuse of barrels that are too often present and crush the fruit. This is why I am committed to finding for you new rare pearls that emerge each year in a constantly evolving French vineyard.

Indeed, for years now we have seen the emergence of new talents, as unsuspected as they are unexpected, in improbable appellations which have the most beautiful discoveries in store for us.

Creating surprise and provoking emotion is the very essence of the pleasure I have in making you discover and taste new wines, such as those created in their time by Tertre Roteboeuf, Roc de Cambes and Domaine de Cambes which continue to seduce the Wine Lover! Because they are produced in relatively limited quantities, they are only rarely available. La Tour des Vins is the only point of sale in the Pyrénées Atlantiques (64) which can guarantee you a direct supply from the property! As well as optimum conservation quality up to the oldest vintages...

For more than 20 years now, I have had the pleasure of praising the merits, the quality but also and above all, the consistency of the work of François Mitjavile, Louis MITAVILE, Jean Claude DESMARTY, Patrick De CONNINCK, & Thomas THIOU among others…

As I like to say, there are no "small years"! There are only winemakers with more or less terroirs and talents.

Present on the Basque coast since 2002, I have been interested not only in the wines of the Basque country with the AOC Irouleguy appellation, regional with those of Jurançon, but also in those of the whole of France, because our winegrowers deserve to be rediscovered from A to Z.
