The Ibardin campsite is located in an oak forest, which provides excellent protection from the heat. We went there in September, and acorns fell all night long on the roof of the mobile home... every night and all night long... making it a nightmare to sleep... What's more, during a gust of wind, a large branch fell on our mobile home. However, we were relocated to a larger, more functional mobile home.

Free parking, beautiful trail for walks. Do not underestimate the paths, take plenty of water, water bottle, etc. The disadvantage is that I find that the paths are not always well indicated or at least they are indicated but you do not know which one you are doing... At the start you choose one but as they are all jzu'e the paths sometimes it is confusing but with motivation and determination we get there. In the parking lot we can see the presence of wild cows... It is better not to go too much trouble especially since it is in the middle of the parking lot at times. After the walk you can refresh yourself in your vehicle and especially go higher to 300 meters where there are several restaurants on offer as well as shops (supermarkets) it is possible to fill up with gas. The Ibardin pass is on the border between the commune of Urrugne and Spain... The walks are on French territory and the shops on Spanish territory. The shopkeepers speak French, Spanish, and Basque. Enjoy your walk... And above all, don't throw anything on the ground in the woods; keep your trash and let's keep this place clean! Thank you.
