The Chilo house is located in the Soule valley, on the border of Béarn, in the village of Barcus. The Chilo family acquired this building in 1937; from a farm inn, it has become, over generations, a charming hotel and restaurant. Our 3-star hotel comprises 8 rooms, combining the comfort of a hotel with the charm of a family home where each generation has added its own touch to make you feel right at home. The rooms are tastefully decorated with attention to detail, reflecting the period charm that you will find throughout the house.

A wellness break

Staying here allows you to slow down, relax, enjoy the beautiful walks and sporting activities available nearby, admire the large park filled with flowers and trees, and take advantage of the swimming pool in summer with its breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. In winter, two lounges with fireplaces await you, perfect for enjoying a drink or reading a book.

A gastronomic getaway

The restaurant, featured in major gastronomic guides such as Michelin and Gault & Millau, offers inventive cuisine focused on local produce. The menu changes very regularly to reflect the seasonality of ingredients. The rich local terroir allows for the use of locally sourced products, a sourcing method favored by Arnaud Chilo.

Marina, his sister, offers a carefully curated selection of French wines in the dining room, with around a hundred references on the wine list.

At breakfast, you will find the same quality of products with a varied buffet composed of artisanal and homemade products.
