We appreciated the staff's helpfulness and friendliness. The room wasn't bad... the bathroom was small but functional. In terms of amenities, there was nothing, no fridge, no kettle, but you could buy something to eat at reception (for a fee). Breakfast was good but light and therefore expensive (€12 per person) for cereal, yogurt, cold cuts, tiny pieces of bread, and individually wrapped cheeses – sad in the land of cheese. Parking is convenient and secure for €10 per day right next door. This hotel has its positive points, but I would only stay one night, two at most. You're in the very noisy city center. The soundproofing in the rooms is very poor. Also, please change the mattress protectors... ours was awful. Otherwise, the cleanliness was impeccable. The bathrooms were very clean! I could recommend this hotel for a stopover.

Literally right across the street from the Bayonne Train Station. Pleasant gal at the front desk, comfortable bed. If you need a hair dryer, just ask, as they have a supply behind the front desk...
