Founded in 1974 by Étienne and Adrienne Brana, the Brana distillery began with the planting of a William pear orchard and the construction of a distillery dedicated to the production of pear brandy. This brandy quickly became a must-have in the Basque Country. Over the years, the product range has expanded with the introduction of new eaux-de-vie, gins, whiskies and liqueurs.
In 2018, a new distillery opened in Ossès. Designed in a contemporary style, it is functional, spacious, and welcoming, with a copper-colored facade that blends perfectly with the still, the centerpiece of the establishment.
Spanning 1500 m², this modern distillery houses three copper stills and various vats, all complying with the latest standards, allowing for continued innovation in the creation of new distilled products.
A 200 m² space is dedicated to welcoming visitors, where they can taste the Domaine's eaux-de-vie, gins, whiskies, liqueurs and wines, thus offering a complete immersion in Brana's expertise.
