    • It is the largest Natural Reserve in the Basque Country, which is located in Biscay but also in Alava. It is a Mecca for hiking and mountaineering, but also for horseback riding, cycling... And caving because many caves are naturally dug in the karst rock. A 20,000 hectare playground with splendid and unspoiled landscapes. At the top of Mount Gorbeia, there is a cross, a lighthouse to be reached at an altitude of 1482m above sea level.
      You will come across many wild animals as you walk the well-marked trails of this park, protected since 1994 and less than an hour from Bilbao.

    One of the best places in the Basque Country. In the winter there is usually snow , in the summer you can go hiking with the hole family and have a good time. It has a lot of routes, easy and hard ones.

    Great place to hike with large and wide trails. The visitor center has bathroom facilities which is a nice way to prep and return.

    This nature park is very quiet. Some local people walk there their dogs. There is a chance that you meet cows on the road.
