  I regularly go to Ekia, even though the welcome isn't always the friendliest, depending on who's there. The place is clean, but the wait is sometimes long, very long… even when it's not very busy. I came today for afternoon tea, and we had to wait almost 20 minutes for our order to be taken, even though there were only six other customers… and three employees… I had to get up to place the order: two drinks and a cheesecake. We were served, but it wasn't specified that the cheesecake was chocolate. We were expecting a classic cheesecake, so we asked for a change because we don't like chocolate. The waiter offered us another one, strawberry… While the slice of chocolate cheesecake presented was generous, the same could not be said for the “strawberry cheesecake,” which was actually just a fraisier… we didn’t want to make a fuss, so we said nothing… honestly, the portion for 6 euros was tiny and the taste was completely disappointing… total disappointment… When it came time to pay (a young blonde woman), there was no “Did everything go well?” "Just 'that'll be 18 euros'... we've seen better... so I took the liberty of commenting on the mention of the chocolate cheesecake and the tiny portion of strawberry cake... she confirmed that it was indeed a strawberry cake, that the mold wasn't the same, and so was the price... strange, we still paid 6 euros... and then a 'but otherwise everything was fine'... a dialogue of the deaf... she should change professions. Honestly, as a regular customer, I certainly won't be returning anytime soon... what a shame. Update December 2025: I went back, or rather I tried to go back several times for hot drinks to go, impossible to get served at 5:30 pm, even though a coffee machine isn't that long or complicated to clean... and another refusal the day before yesterday at 5:15 pm... what a shame, I found what I was looking for elsewhere less than a 2-minute walk away..."

  Very expensive for the quality; mediocre. There are better options on the same side of the street. The eggs were boiled, and the salad had a disgusting raspberry dressing. Very disappointing and expensive. I won't be back.
