This establishment is located in the very heart of the village of Espelette, opposite the public square, near the pelota court, the castle and the market square.
Espelette, home of the famous chili pepper, welcomes you at the foot of the first Pyrenean peaks and close to the sea, in a village restored for pedestrians and ideal for hiking.
Welcoming and warm like the chili peppers that adorn their walls and brighten their kitchen, Auxtin Darraidou and his team will introduce you to the full richness of their gastronomy:
Axoa, tripoxa, Banka trout from Goiko, “Axuria” milk-fed lamb, Idikia veal, Ibaïama pork from Ospital… So many generous dishes inspired by the Basque Country.During the season, every Friday, live music in a bodega atmosphere.
