Originally, the Talo was a flat pancake that Maité was able to transform into a soft and crispy slipper while keeping the traditional Herriko dough(half corn, half wheat) .
Maité wanted to rediscover the original taste of yesteryear , the one she had known through her Aitatxi (grandfather in Basque) in the family home in Ostabat, a village in lower Navarre, a thick, delicious and generous Talo .
Garnished to order with elaborate, original or exotic cuisine, you will find only local products .
Using the freshest regional products , Maité prepares Taloak for you to taste and also offers a menu of exclusively local ice creams, ciders and beers.
