It is at the foot of the Basque mountains, at an altitude of 1300m, that the Chalets d'Iraty restaurant awaits you.

Take a seat in our spacious dining room, where you'll have two choices: a view of the Pyrenees or a cozy fireplace. Enjoy traditional family cuisine, prepared with fresh ingredients selected from the finest Basque Country produce.

To name just a few dishes: the excellent Licq trout, the Axuria grilled rib steak and of course, the Basque cake!

All this will be offered to you in harmony with delicious wines from all over the Basque Country.

Seasonal products from the Basque Country

The aim of the Chalets d'Iraty restaurant is to offer tasty cuisine made with quality local produce.

This is why, at the initiative of the Basque Country Tourist Office, the restaurant has signed up for the Tokikoa label. This label, strictly regulated by specifications and a dedicated committee, designates the presence in the restaurant of a product made entirely from local produce.

This is how the Tokikoa plate is available all year round.

Takeaway meals

To satisfy all our customers, the Chalets d'Iraty restaurant offers takeaway meals (starter + main course + dessert for €21) on restaurant opening days. These meals must be reserved as soon as possible and collected before 5:30 p.m.

• From July 17 to September 14

From 9:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

• School holidays

From 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

• Christmas holidays

From 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: from December 18 to 22, from December 27 to 29 and January 3 and 4, 2026

• Closures
