ARTISAN CHARCUTIER - GOURMET BISTRO
Located in the heart of the village of Sare, Arka is a must-visit destination. It showcases traditional charcuterie know-how, with high-quality products prepared using local supply chains (Kintoa pork). Everything is produced and prepared on site in their own workshop.
You can enjoy the bistro's sharing menu, featuring platters of Basque Kintoa AOP pork ham aged for 28 months, homemade pâté en croûte, croquettes, or the famous Arka platter with its assortment of house-made cured meats (coppa, dried lomo, chorizo, saucisson, etc.). You can also choose from the lunch menu or the à la carte menu, offering seasonal dishes.
All this is perfectly paired with a fine selection of local wines such as Irouléguy and Jurançon, as well as wines from Burgundy, the Rhône Valley, the Loire Valley, Bordeaux, Languedoc, and Provence. You can also discover a range of local beers.
Enjoy the beautiful terrace with a view of La Rhune.
Next door, you will find a charming shop offering their house-made preserves, cured meats, Kintoa AOP ham, and a local wine cellar. All cured meats are made without nitrite salts and without preservatives.
Arka is also a charcuterie bistro offering an epicurean menu paired with a carefully curated wine list.
