  One star, and that's being generous! Room with a beautiful view, but unbearable to stay in: - Room decor straight out of the 90s: plaster walls, old yellow and blue furniture; - Room directly overlooking the Basque coast: constant coming and going of cars, scooters, and motorcycles creating pervasive noise pollution: impossible to sit on the tiny terrace to make a phone call or have lunch with your wife; - Poor soundproofing, so even with the shutters and windows closed, it's really not great, even at night; - Complete lack of housekeeping, linen changes, and towel changes during a 5-day stay; - No answer when calling reception, even though the receptionists are present. I'm willing to accept anything, but at €100/night, okay, it's cheap for the city—which isn't really worth more—a minimum level of service should be guaranteed out of respect for guests, and this is far from it. A shame.

  Friendly welcome, good parking next to or below the hotel, clean, adequately sized room, no carpeting, nice view, good breakfast. Only two large towels in the room, no small ones, few electrical outlets, small TV. Located on a hill, meaning you have to walk downhill and uphill.

  I came for two days for a business trip, but I would have liked to spend a week. Spacious and well-decorated room, great view, very comfortable bed and linens, very friendly staff, and a great breakfast. There was no noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway. I felt like I was in a real cocoon. I would have liked to have been able to enjoy it more and try out the shared facilities, especially the heated pool. Next time!
