  What a shame, this hotel is neglected, with worn carpeting. Rust is everywhere on the exterior of the buildings. Tiles are missing in the spa and pool area. The air conditioning leaks in the restaurant, which is full of cobwebs. The TV in the room is broken. The terrace has dirty windows and iron chairs and table. One or two sun loungers would have been welcome. It's not worthy of a 5-star rating; only the price reflects that. The staff, however, were attentive and the valet parking attendants were friendly.

  Excellent stay at the Sofitel Biarritz! We came as a couple and had a wonderful time. The location is ideal, with a magnificent ocean view and easy access to the city center. The staff was welcoming, professional, and always available to answer our questions. The room was comfortable, clean, and very pleasant. We also greatly appreciated the various services offered by the hotel, as well as the quality of the breakfast. A relaxing and memorable experience that we highly recommend. We will gladly return on our next trip to Biarritz!
