  This is the place you go when you want real, authentic, local food. We booked in the afternoon for the evening and forever thankful we did as the place was bouncing by 20:00. We had the clams, mussels and Gambinos to start. The mussels standout as some of the best I’ve ever had: the meat and the sauce. We followed up with a whole turbot with roasted green peppers and fresh tomatoes. Definitely recommend this. For dessert we shared their signature “French toast” with frozen yoghurt. The perfect end to a stunning meal. Loads more on the menu we wish we could try - next time we come to Hondarrabia

  During Easter week we had lunch here. The dishes are excellent but the staff were somewhat overwhelmed with the amount of customers. On a calmer day it would have been 5 stars as the food really was well done and reasonable in price

  We had to wait for ever for the food. We ate at different times. Some were having the dessert and others the first dishes. We took 3 hours to have lunch, missing a wonderful day outside... The answers to our questions wasn't even polite. Go yourself in the kitchen and you will see.
