  This is the place you go when you want real, authentic, local food. We booked in the afternoon for the evening and forever thankful we did as the place was bouncing by 20:00. We had the clams, mussels and Gambinos to start. The mussels standout as some of the best I’ve ever had: the meat and the sauce. We followed up with a whole turbot with roasted green peppers and fresh tomatoes. Definitely recommend this. For dessert we shared their signature “French toast” with frozen yoghurt. The perfect end to a stunning meal. Loads more on the menu we wish we could try - next time we come to Hondarrabia

  Octopus plate was too salty. Omelette was good. Clams and mussels good. Service very very poor, argumentative, aggressive,rude,threatening and unreasonable. For this reason alone i would never return. I held my tongue as i had 2 family’s with 3 babies and two young kids. I just wanted to leave the drama that the front of house staff created. I feel for the chef. In this establishment the customer is always wrong.
