  It's a wonderful stop after visiting the Zugarramurdi Cave! We received a very warm welcome, and the produce is fresh, high-quality, and very well-prepared. I had the menu of the day (starter/main course/dessert for €20). Starter: I chose the assortment of croquettes. Just the right amount! Very tasty and well-balanced croquettes. You can also see the tomato salad in the photo. Main Course: Marinated spider crab with potatoes. The meat is succulent, well-marinated and perfectly cooked. I forgot to take a photo in the heat of the moment 😅 Dessert: Basque cake, a classic! Just what you need to round off your meal! My family also discovered a very good red wine (Mimao Garnacha Tinta 2023). They explained to us where to find it, we left with 3 cases of Dantxarinea!

  I was at this establishment yesterday, which we saw on the way to the cave, and we really made the right choice. The meat was top-notch; in fact, I'd say it was the best ribeye steak I've eaten this year. The service was very attentive. The homemade dessert (cheesecake) was fantastic. I'll go back another time when I'm in the area. 95 euros for two people, even though the ribeye steak was already 65 euros.
